Breaking: One Consortium and Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Join Forces to Amplify the Global Fight Against Scams

The Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) and One Consortium are proud to announce a strategic partnership aimed at intensifying the global response to scams – part of a growing battle against organized crime.

GASA’s mission is to protect consumers worldwide by uniting stakeholders across sectors, raising public awareness, supporting law enforcement, and advocating for smarter, globally coordinated anti-scam policies.

By joining forces, GASA and One Consortium will leverage their respective strengths and networks to deliver tangible, cross-sector outcomes. This partnership will enhance innovation, intelligence-sharing, and coordinated action to disrupt scam operations worldwide.

One Consortium acts as the telecom industry pillar of the Restore Trust initiative, which mobilizes the sector’s efforts to rebuild integrity in digital communications. It collaborates closely with GIRAF (the Global Informal Regulatory Anti-Fraud Forum), the initiative’s second pillar for telecom regulators.

With more than 50 member organizations, including global industry leaders such as GSMA and i3Forum, One Consortium works directly with over 40 telecom regulatory authorities participating in hashtagGIRAF. Together, they develop best-practice guidelines, vendor-neutral tools, and regulatory recommendations to combat spam and scams at scale.

“Scams don’t stop at borders, and neither should our solutions. This partnership with One Consortium is a critical step in uniting the telecom sector with civil society, regulators, and law enforcement to restore trust in our digital world,” said Jorij Abraham, Managing Director, Global Anti-Scam Alliance.

“The telecom ecosystem, global by nature, is one of the major components of the fight against scams – but it does not exist in a vacuum. Joining forces with GASA will significantly enhance our capability to foster global regulatory consistency, cross-jurisdictional and cross-sectorial cooperation, and to bring to bear the Telecom’s sector global capabilities in terms of prevention and enforcement.” said Philippe Millet, Leadership Council, One Consortium

This partnership reinforces both organizations’ shared commitment to global cooperation, systemic solutions, and restoring trust across the digital ecosystem.
